Who are the Palliative Care team members?
The Palliative Care team is an interdisciplinary group of specially trained professionals who provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to patients as needed to assist the patient’s physician. The Palliative Care team includes:
Dantuluri P. Raju, MD, CCPC Chief Medical Director Specialty: Gerontology, Family Practice Board
Certifications: Geriatric Practice; Board of Family Practice, Hospice and Palliative Medicine
Also serves as medical director for Timber Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Ocala, FL
Thomas J. Fuller, MD, Medical DirectorSpecialty: Critical Care/Nephrology Board
Certifications: Critical Care Medicine
Bonnie Parsons, RN, MSN, GNP-CS, Palliative Care Manager Certifications: Gerontological Nurse Practitioner
Created two successful palliative care services in North Carolina and California, before becoming a founder member of the Center for Comprehensive Palliative Care in 2008.
